The Sound of Latvia: Coincidence or Something More?

November 4 & 5, 2026 | Tallinas Street Quarter, Riga

Latvia is home to manufacturers of synthesizers, microphones, guitar effects pedals, speakers, and audio software used by musicians and producers worldwide, including some of the biggest names in the industry.

Why have so many music and audio technology companies emerged in Latvia? Are these individual success stories, or is there something bigger behind them?

On November 4 & 5, Riga Music Week will host Music Tech Expo, a two-day international exhibition of music technology and audio innovation, organised in collaboration with Rock Distribution.

The exhibition will showcase Latvian music technology companies, manufacturers, and developers, offering visitors the chance to discover and test innovative products and meet the people behind them.

Beyond showcasing products, Music Tech Expo will connect Latvian companies with international music industry professionals, distributors, producers, and potential business partners, creating opportunities for collaboration and export.

Calling all Latvian music tech and audio companies!

If you develop or manufacture musical instruments, audio equipment, software, or other music-related technologies, join Music Tech Expo and showcase your innovations to an international audience.
