The full Riga Music Week x KIT’26 conference programme, including masterclasses and networking opportunities, will be announced by the end of the summer.
 
The conference will explore a wide range of current and forward-looking topics shaping the music industry, including the role of artificial intelligence in music creation and business, synchronization opportunities across film, television, games and advertising, streaming platforms and independent playlist curators, as well as funding models and support mechanisms.
 
Further discussions will address copyright and digital distribution, the evolving role of radio and quotas, the relationship between music and urban space, nightlife ecosystems, cultural diplomacy, and the broader creative economy. The programme will also examine pathways to European festival circuits, ticketing trends, audience development, and other key industry dynamics.
 
In addition to panels and presentations, the conference will offer dedicated sessions for knowledge exchange, practical insights, and professional networking among local and international industry participants.

CITY MUSIC FESTIVAL

The Riga Music Week City Festival (November 4–6) will transform Riga into a vibrant urban festival zone, filling Riga with live music.
 
Over three days, more than 50 emerging and established artists from Latvia, the Baltics, Europe, and beyond will perform across several stages, presenting an exciting mix of genres: indie, rock, electronic, hip-hop, experimental, folk, and world music.

RIGALIVE SONGWRITING CAMP

Taking place November 1–3, the RIGaLIVE Songwriting Camp is an intensive creative laboratory for songwriters, producers, and performers. Working in collaborative teams, participants write and produce brand new original songs under the guidance of experienced mentors and industry professionals.
 
The camp provides a rare opportunity to exchange creative approaches, learn from international experts, and establish connections with publishers, labels, and managers. RIGaLIVE focuses on hands-on creativity and professional growth, offering a platform where ideas are transformed into ready-to-pitch songs, expanding the potential for placements and future releases.
 
Applications will be opened this June.

Dedicated to innovation in music creation and performance, T Studio presents SINTĒZE — a future-focused platform that unites electronic music, sound design, and cutting-edge technology.
 
Open to the public free of charge with advance registration, the SINTĒZE showroom will feature the latest music instruments, modular synthesizers, DJ gear, audio software, and groundbreaking creative tools from leading local and international brands.
 
Visitors will have the chance to dive into hands-on demo sessions, explore experimental workstations, experience live improvisations, and join panel discussions on the future of music technology — making SINTĒZE, powered by T Studio, the only event of its kind in Latvia where you can explore the future of music production today.
